Paus: ‘Buli memusnahkan kehidupan, hormati setiap orang untuk siapa mereka’

Paus Fransiskus mengambil bahagian dalam sesi penutup acara “Scholas Occurrentes” di “Bandar Eko-Pendidikan” yang mengumpulkan 50 Datuk Bandar dari Amerika Latin dan Eropah.

Kemungkinan perjalanan ke Argentina; kutukan keras terhadap buli yang “memusnahkan” kehidupan; jemputan untuk menghormati setiap orang “sebagaimana adanya”, dalam “keaslian” mereka; bahaya bagi ramai kanak-kanak yang tidak menamatkan sekolah dan kebimbangan terhadap penyebaran pornografi dan “pengkomersilan cinta” yang mana remaja, khususnya, menjadi mangsa adalah beberapa tema yang dibayangkan oleh Paus Fransiskus semasa pertemuannya dengan Datuk Bandar dan golongan muda dari Amerika Latin dan Eropah.

Bersama Datuk Bandar dari Amerika Latin dan Eropah

Paus Fransiskus menjawab soalan yang dikemukakan kepadanya oleh ahli Amerika Latin dan Eropah dari rangkaian Scholas Occurrentes yang hebat, organisasi yang ditubuhkan pada 2001 di Argentina sebagai tindak balas budaya terhadap krisis politik, ekonomi dan sosial negara itu. Sejak itu ia telah tersebar ke seluruh dunia, terutamanya di kawasan termiskin, terima kasih kepada sokongan dan sumbangan Uskup Agung ketika itu, Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Scholas Occurrentes, yang telah menjadi Yayasan Kepausan, sempena ulang tahunnya yang kesepuluh menganjurkan kongres di Rom bertajuk “Bandar Eko-pendidikan’ dengan 50 datuk bandar Amerika Latin dan Eropah. Acara itu berakhir hari ini, 25 Mei, dengan mesyuarat besar di Institut Augustinianum di Rom dengan kehadiran Paus Fransiskus di mana terdapat dialog, detik muzik dan nyanyian, video, salam dan pertukaran hadiah.

Soalan pertama yang dikemukakan kepada Paus menganggap kemungkinan lawatan ke negara asalnya. “Idea saya,” katanya, “adalah untuk pergi tahun depan, kita akan lihat jika kita boleh.”

Kecemasan pendidikan

Menjawab soalan mengenai kecemasan pendidikan semasa dan keperluan untuk Global Compact on Education, sesuatu yang telah lama dia ajukan di setiap negara, Paus mengecam fakta bahawa ramai anak muda hari ini tidak mempunyai kemungkinan untuk menerima pendidikan yang baik.

“Berapa kerap, kekurangan pendidikan seks, membawa kepada pengkomersilan cinta. Kasih sayang bukan untuk dikomersialkan dan orang muda tidak boleh digunakan…,” katanya.

“Mendidik anak muda”, katanya, “adalah kewajipan ibu bapa dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan,” dan dia menyatakan bahawa kanak-kanak yang tidak dapat menamatkan persekolahan mereka akhirnya menjadi beban kepada masyarakat.

Bapa Suci juga memikirkan tentang ‘pengkomersilan’ seks dan berkata adalah menjadi tanggungjawab sekolah dan pendidik untuk memberi tumpuan kepada topik ini dan beliau menggalakkan mereka yang hadir untuk meneruskan komitmen ini.

Menghormati keaslian

Kedua-dua secara maya dan secara langsung, Paus Fransiskus ditanya soalan tentang homofobia, perkauman, buli.

Buli, di atas segalanya, “sangat serius dan memusnahkan kehidupan,” katanya, “Setiap lelaki, setiap wanita, setiap budak lelaki, setiap gadis mempunyai kewajipan untuk menjadi ‘tulen’, menjadi diri mereka sendiri dan hak untuk dihormati.”

Paus kemudian meluaskan pandangannya kepada krisis yang melanda dunia dan, mengulangi konsep seperti yang dia lakukan semasa detik-detik paling sukar pandemik itu, dia mengulangi: “Untuk keluar dari krisis, anda perlu mengenal pasti dan menemaninya.

“Anda tidak keluar dari krisis sahaja, tetapi disertai (…), anda tidak keluar dari krisis dengan cara yang sama: anda keluar sama ada lebih baik, atau lebih teruk.”

Jersi Maradona

Di antara banyak hadiah untuk Paus yang termasuk bayi seramik Yesus kepada buku, kemeja-t, lukisan, dan bakul penuh dengan produk buatan tangan – terdapat jersi pasukan bola sepak Napoli dengan nombor 10: nombor Armando Maradona.

“Anda adalah nombor 10 Gereja,” kata Presiden pasukan itu, dan dia meminta Paus untuk “menendang semua ketidakadilan di dunia.”

Mengingati datuk dan neneknya di Buenos Aires

Paus meluangkan masa untuk merenung tema yang dia sayangi, iaitu orang tua, “los abuelos”: datuk dan nenek.

Mengimbau datuk dan nenek serta akar umbinya sendiri, Paus Fransiskus berkata “Saya mempunyai rahmat kerana datuk dan nenek saya masih hidup sehingga saya sangat tua, datuk pertama yang meninggal dunia pada usia 16 tahun, yang lain meninggal dunia ketika saya sudah menjadi uskup.”

Dia teringat bagaimana mereka membantu membesarkan banyak keluarga dan berkata mereka mengajarnya bahasa dan nilai mereka.

Kepentingan akar

Pada usia 86 tahun, Paus tidak melupakan detik-detik itu, begitu juga orang lain: “Selalu ada perasaan harus kembali ke asalnya,” katanya: “Sebuah masyarakat hancur apabila terdapat perpecahan antara akar dan batang. (…) Jika kita tidak mengambil getah dari akar, kita kering.”

Dan mengutip dari Nabi Yoel, bab 2, ayat 1, dia berkata: “Orang tua akan bermimpi dan orang muda akan melihat penglihatan.”

“Ini adalah sesuatu yang mereka boleh lakukan hanya jika mereka berhubung antara satu sama lain,” katanya.

Jangan tinggalkan orang tua

Mengimbas kembali cerita, dia mendengar sebagai uskup di Argentina apabila dia melawat rumah orang tua, Paus mengeluarkan rayuan untuk tidak pernah meninggalkan orang tua, yang katanya “tidak boleh mati dalam pengasingan…”.

Dia berkata jururawat akan memberitahunya tentang “orang tua yang ditinggalkan sendirian selama berbulan-bulan oleh saudara-mara mereka,” dan dia memberi amaran bahawa “masyarakat yang tidak menjaga hubungan ini menjadi ideologi, menggalakkan fahaman mazhab…”

Adelante

“Adelante”, Paus akhirnya berkata kepada anak-anak muda yang hadir dan kepada seluruh rangkaian Scholas: “Maju ke hadapan,” sebelum menyerahkan diploma Sekolah Laudato sì kehormat Majors: “Ini bukan garisan penamat, tetapi permulaan yang baru”.
