Bapa Suci di Angelus: Konflik boleh dielakkan dengan mendengar orang lain

Bapa Suci Fransiskus berkata apabila membuat keputusan, adalah baik untuk berdoa, memanggil Roh dan mendengar dengan keinginan yang tulus untuk memahami yang lain.

Katekese Bapa Suci Fransiskus semasa Minggu Angelus memberi tumpuan kepada bacaan dari Injil Matius di mana Yesus berkata, “Barangsiapa menerima nabi kerana dia adalah nabi, ia akan menerima upah nabi” (Mat 10:41).

Bercakap kepada penziarah yang berkumpul di Dataran St Peter, Bapa Suci merenung tentang keperluan untuk mengalu-alukan para nabi hari ini.

“Setiap daripada kita, saudara dan saudari, adalah seorang nabi,” katanya, sambil menyatakan bahawa dengan Pembaptisan, kita semua menerima karunia misi kenabian.

Kita semua adalah nabi

Bapa Suci seterusnya menjelaskan bahawa seorang nabi adalah orang yang membantu orang lain membaca masa kini di bawah tindakan Roh Kudus, membantu mereka “untuk memahami rancangan Tuhan dan sesuai dengan mereka.”

“Nabi adalah orang yang menunjukkan Yesus kepada orang lain, yang memberi kesaksian tentang Dia, yang membantu hidup hari ini dan membina masa depan menurut rancangannya.”

“Kita semua adalah nabi,” sambungnya, saksi Yesus, tanda-tanda pengasih yang menunjukkan Tuhan kepada orang lain, pantulan cahaya Kristus di jalan saudara-saudari.”

Dia menjemput orang percaya untuk bertanya kepada diri mereka sendiri sama ada mereka hidup sebagai saksi Yesus, membawa sedikit cahayaNya ke dalam kehidupan orang lain.

“Adakah saya menilai diri saya tentang perkara ini? Saya bertanya kepada diri sendiri: Seperti apakah kesaksian saya, nubuat saya?” katanya.

Dengar semua orang

Bapa Suci seterusnya mencatat bahawa dalam Injil, Tuhan meminta untuk menyambut para nabi.

“Adalah penting untuk menyambut satu sama lain seperti itu, sebagai pembawa mesej Tuhan, masing-masing mengikut negeri dan panggilannya,” katanya.

Ini adalah sesuatu yang perlu dilakukan di tempat kita tinggal, jelasnya, dalam keluarga, dalam paroki, dalam komuniti agama, di tempat lain dalam Gereja dan dalam masyarakat.

Dan memerhatikan bahawa Roh “telah membagikan karunia nubuat dalam Umat Allah yang kudus.” Bapa Suci berkata, “Inilah sebabnya adalah baik untuk mendengar semua orang.”

“Sebagai contoh, apabila keputusan penting perlu dibuat, adalah baik untuk berdoa terlebih dahulu, memanggil Roh, tetapi kemudian mendengar dan berdialog dengan mempercayai bahawa setiap orang, walaupun yang paling kecil, mempunyai sesuatu yang penting untuk dikatakan, anugerah kenabian untuk dikongsi,” katanya.

Dia menyimpulkan dengan menjemput orang Kristian untuk membuat orang berasa dialu-alukan, “bukan kerana mereka mengatakan apa yang menggembirakan kita, tetapi supaya mereka merasa diterima dan dihargai sebagai pemberian mereka.”

“Mari kita renungkan berapa banyak konflik yang boleh dielakkan dan diselesaikan dengan cara ini, mendengar orang lain dengan keinginan yang ikhlas untuk memahami satu sama lain!”
