Berkat penutup Misa

Soalan: Suatu ketika dahulu, semasa Misa Kudus berlangsung, ia diselitkan dengan beberapa perkongsian serta persembahan video singkat sebelum berkat penutup. Saya lihat ramai umat yang pulang sebelum berkat penutup. Paderi mengatakan umat yang pulang sebelum berkat penutup sama sahaja tidak menghadiri Misa. Apakah benar demikian?

Jawapan: Ya. seseorang yang pulang sebelum Ekaristi selesai, adalah seperti tidak merayakan Ekaristi. Oleh itu kita perlu mengenal dan mengerti terlebih dahulu akan Ekariti.

Pertama, “Perayaan Ekaristi adalah tindakan Kristus sendiri bersama umat Tuhan yang tersusun secara hirarki” (PUMR 16). Ekaristi merupakan “sumber dan puncak hidup Gereja”.

Ekaristi merupakan hal utama bagi umat beriman kristiani kerana di sanalah setiap orang Katolik menyambut Tubuh Kristus yang memberikan kekuatan baru dan menyatukan dengan Kristus. Pengertian ini mencerminkan bahawa Ekaristi sesuatu yang utama dan wajib bagi setiap orang Katolik.

Kedua, perayaan Ekaristi bukan perayaan milik para uskup, paderi dan diakon sahaja tetapi perayaan seluruh umat beriman. Pedoman Umum Misa Romawi (PUMR) telah menyatakan bahawa “Kehadiran dan penyertaan aktif  umat beriman mengungkapkan dengan lebih jelas bahawa pada hakikatnya perayaan Ekaristi adalah perayaan umat” (PUMR 19). Maka, Perayaan Ekaristi sesungguhnya perayaan milik bersama Gereja, terutama umat Tuhan. Hal yang perlu disedari adalah Ekaristi itu merupakan“Liturgi”. Untuk itu, sebagai perayaan milik Gereja ini, Ekaristi sebagai sebuah liturgi menjadi tanggung jawab semua umat.

Hal ini ditegaskan oleh Konsili Vatikan II bahawa “Bonda Gereja sangat menginginkan, supaya semua orang beriman dibimbing ke arah keikut-sertaan yang sepenuhnya, sedar dan aktif dalam perayaan-perayaan Liturgi”(SC 14).

Kemudian, hal lain yang perlu difahami berkaitan dengan Ekaristi adalah bagian-bagian dalam Perayaan Ekaristi. Ekaristi secara pokok terdiri dari dua bahagian, iaitu Liturgi Sabda dan Liturgi Ekaristi yang adalah suatu kesatuan, berhubungan erat satu sama lain sehingga satu tindakan ibadat (Bdk. PUMR 28).

Selain itu, PUMR secara jelas menyatakan ada dua ritus lain, iaitu “ritus pembuka dan ritus penutup”. Oleh sebab itu, Perayaan Ekaristi yang adalah milik bersama Gereja, dilaksanakan dengan kebersamaan dari awal hingga akhir.

Mentaliti umat yang seringkali masih merasa bahawa Ekaristi yang terpenting adalah pen erimaan “Komuni” memang tidak betul. Contoh nya, umat terlambat ke Perayaan Ekaristi dan terlepas Liturgi Sabda kerana menganggap Komuni sahaja yang penting. Pemahaman dan mentaliti seperti itu tidak dapat dibenarkan kerana Komuni dapat disambut ketika orang juga mendengarkan Sabda Tuhan yang membawa orang mempersiapkan menyambut Tubuh Kristus.

Dengan kata lain, umat kurang faham atau memiliki pemahaman yang keliru tentang “Komuni”. Komuni Kudus seolah-olah yang paling utama manakala bahagian Misa lain tidak penting.

Penting untuk difahami bahawa semua bahagian Ekaristi sama pentingnya, bahawa Ekaristi adalah kesatuan yang tidak terpisah.

Begitu juga ketika umat pulang tanpa doa penutup mahupun berkat. Ini sesungguhnya tidak dibenarkan. Umat perlu memahami bahawa Ekaristi sebagai satu kesatuan, tidak boleh meninggalkan salah satu bahagian pun dalam perayaan Ekaristi.

Adalah digalakkan, setiap Gereja menganjurkan pembentukan Liturgi agar umat memahami setiap bahagian Misa dan tidak ada yang pulang sebelum berkat penutup atau ada yang sengaja datang selepas Liturgi Sabda. – Herald
