‘Bersinarlah, Jadilah Cahaya untuk dilihat oleh Semua’

RANAU – Jururawat dan pekerja Penjagaan Kesihatan diseru untuk ‘Bersinarlah, Jadilah Cahaya untuk dilihat oleh Semua’, yang menjadi tema semasa satu retreat di St Bede Chapel, Kg Kokob Ranau baru-baru ini.

Seramai 26 jururawat dari Tawau, Keningau, Tuaran, Kiulu, Kota Kinabalu dan Ranau menyertai Retreat Jururawat Dan Kesihatan 2024 pada hujung minggu berkenaan.

Mereka disertai oleh 15 ahli pasukan Karismatik Katolik dari Ranau yang mengetuai sesi Pujian dan Penyembahan.

Program itu termasuk misa harian, perbualan rohani, doa pagi, adorasi dan pujian dan penyembahan.

Retreat itu diketuai oleh Fr Alberto Irenus David S.J yang melayani di Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Fr Alberto memberikan lima sesi input teori yang berpusat pada tema, memimpin Misa Kudus dan mengetuai adorasi.

Pada sesi pertama pengenalan tema tersebut, beliau mengingatkan peserta agar kembali kepada asal usul penciptaan.

Mereka merenungkan Kejadian 1:3 “Jadilah terang dan terang muncul”, dan pada Mazmur 119:105, “Firman-Mu adalah pelita yang menuntun aku dan terang bagi jalanku”.

“Untuk bersinar, kita perlu menanamkan firman Tuhan dalam diri kita dan mencari Tuhan dalam segala-galanya,” kata Fr Alberto.

Para peserta telah diperkenalkan dengan Kamus Belaskasih di mana para peserta dikehendaki untuk merenung soalan seperti; Apa yang boleh saya lakukan untuk Orang Sakit, Apa yang boleh saya sampaikan kepada orang sakit, Apa yang boleh saya lakukan untuk orang sakit, dan Apa yang boleh saya pelajari daripada orang sakit?

Seorang peserta yang merupakan seorang guru berkata, dengan menukar perkataan ‘sakit’ kepada ‘pelajar’, amat tersentuh dengan soalan-soalan ini kerana dia mengaitkannya dengan peranannya sebagai seorang guru dan sangat terkesan dengan dengan berkongsi pengalamannya dengan pelajarnya.

Hari kedua dimulakan dengan doa pagi dan sarapan ‘senyap’. Seorang peserta berkongsi bahawa dia mengalami kehadiran Tuhan semasa sarapan senyap kerana dia boleh melihat dan mengagumi ciptaan Tuhan di alam sekitar.

Dalam sesi kedua yang bertajuk ‘Hati yang penuh Cahaya-Hati yang bersinar’, Fr Alberto berkongsi Mazmur 36:9 “Engkau adalah sumber Kehidupan, dan kerana terangMu, kami melihat cahaya”. Turut dikongsi ialah Efesus 5:8-9.

“Hendaklah kamu hidup seperti orang yang termasuk dalam terang, kerana terang itulah yang menghasilkan banyak tuaian dari segala kebaikan, kesolehan dan kebenaran.

“Kita perlu mempunyai Magnificat sendiri untuk memuji Tuhan. Ada dua soalan yang perlu kita tanya pada diri kita sendiri. Bagaimanakah Tuhan telah membesarkan hidup saya? dan bagaimanakah hidupku mengagungkan Tuhanku?” katanya.

Sesi ketiga bertajuk ‘Hati saya sendiri- Cahaya dan bayang-bayangnya’.

Semasa sesi ini, para peserta diingatkan bahawa dalam kegelisahan mereka, mereka perlu berhenti seketika, fokus semula kepada Kristus dan membuat keputusan berdasarkan Ekaristi.

“Kami dibimbing untuk melihat diri kami mempunyai misi yang unik dan kehidupan bermatlamat di mana kami harus berhenti seketika, berkhidmat dan menyampaikan,” kongsi seorang lagi peserta lain.

Sesi ini diikuti dengan perbualan rohani berpandukan soalan seperti ‘Apakah yang menyedihkan, memecahbelahkan, menyelubungi, apa yang menghalang saya daripada membuka hati saya kepada-Nya?’

Para peserta dibahagikan kepada lapan kumpulan dengan seorang moderator untuk berkongsi dan berbincang mengenai soalan reflektif yang disediakan.

Sesi keempat bertajuk ‘Hati dunia yang Patah dan Terdedah’.

Ia merenungkan topik ‘Dalam dunia yang rosak ini, Tuhan kita memberi kita Harapan’.

“Kita dipanggil untuk hidup dalam kekudusan dan bertanya kepada diri sendiri soalan-soalan ini yang mungkin mengubah orientasi harian kita. Apakah yang telah saya lakukan untuk Kristus? Apa yang saya lakukan untuk Kristus? Apa yang harus saya lakukan untuk Kristus?” ujar Fr Alberto.

Sesi kelima bertajuk ‘Pusat-Hati untuk tatapan semua’, di mana Fr Alberto menyebut bahawa kita menerima rahmat untuk melihat perkara baharu dalam cahaya Tuhan dengan rasa syukur, rendah hati, keikhlasan, belas kasihan dan misi.

“Kita dipanggil untuk hidup dalam kekudusan dan pekerjaan kita boleh membawa kita kepada kekudusan. Hati adalah benih operasi ilahi yang mengubah orang Kristian untuk memberi dan berkongsi,” katanya.

Hari terakhir menyaksikan beberapa peserta memberikan testimoni mereka dan berkongsi keseluruhan sesi.

Mereka gembira dan teruja dipanggil untuk menyertai retreat walaupun menghadapi pelbagai cabaran.

Mereka dapat melihat diri mereka dalam cahaya baharu dan lebih bersedia untuk menghadapi cabaran di tempat kerja, keluarga dan komuniti yang mereka berkhidmat.

Retreat diakhiri dengan Misa Kudus, gambar berkumpulan dan makan tengah hari.
