KUCHING — The EMPOWERED Ministry held two youth gatherings in the month February on Friday nights in St James Room of the Cathedral Parish Centre.
The gathering held on the 17th was attended by almost 30 youths including children, teenagers, and young adults. The activities for the evening included team games, a sharing on the topic of prayer by one of the Ministry leaders, and ended with a Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
Subsequently, the gathering held on the 24th began with an ice-breaking activity, a praise and worship session, and a sharing entitled “Rebirth” by one of the Ministry leaders to mark the beginning of the Season of Lent.
The EMPOWERED Ministry Friday gatherings is open to all youths ages 13 years old and above who are interested to learn about Jesus through various activities through a small community.
