Laporan ‘bekas hamba’ Indonesia mengenai pemerdagangan manusia dan penipuan dalam talian

Kenyataan seorang lelaki muda yang direkrut melalui iklan kerja Facebook dikeluarkan hari ini pada perbicaraan Senat Filipina. Kira-kira seribu warga asing bekerja di kawasan yang sama di Parañaque berhampiran lapangan terbang antarabangsa. Jari dituding pada Biro Imigresen visa mudah masuk.

MANILA (AsiaNews) – Senator Risa Hontiveros hari ini mendedahkan semasa perbicaraan Senat bahawa ratusan warga asing tinggal di kompleks kondominium yang sama di ibu negara Filipina, yang ditahan dalam perhambaan maya, dipaksa bekerja dalam perniagaan penipuan dalam talian.

Bermula pada bulan November, senator itu mula mendedahkan operasi yang melibatkan pendatang Filipina yang diperdagangkan yang bekerja dalam penipuan crypto di pelbagai negara Asia Tenggara.

Baru-baru ini pejabatnya mengetahui bahawa operasi serupa sedang berlaku di Bayport West NAIA Garden Residences, sebuah kompleks kondominium tujuh menara hanya beberapa minit dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Ninoy Aquino di Parañaque, Metro Manila (Wilayah Ibu Kota Negara), lapor laman web berita Rappler.

Dalam perbicaraan Senat, seorang pekerja Indonesia yang hanya dikenali sebagai “Ridwan” memberi keterangan secara maya, selepas dia pulang ke rumah. Dalam afidavitnya, dia berkata bahawa dia melihat kira-kira seribu warga asing bekerja di kompleks kondominium, direkrut melalui penipuan untuk bekerja di Filipina dalam penipuan crypto dalam talian.

Ridwan berkata bahawa dia melihat siaran kerja pemasaran digital di Facebook pada akhir Februari. Apabila dia menghubungi pengguna Facebook yang menyiarkannya, dia diberitahu untuk menghubungi akaun Telegram. Di sana, dia bercakap dengan seorang perekrut yang dipercayainya warga Indonesia.

Pada 7 Mac, Ridwan bertemu dua lagi rakan senegaranya di lapangan terbang Jakarta, di mana perekrut meminta mereka mengambil swafoto dan menghantarnya kepadanya.

Setibanya di Manila, dia disambut oleh apa yang dia anggap sebagai pekerja syarikat itu yang baru mengambilnya dan menerima swafoto yang dihantar beberapa jam sebelum itu.

Selepas melalui kaunter imigresen, di mana dia tidak ditanya apa-apa soalan, Ridwan dan dua lagi warga Indonesia dibawa ke Bayport West NAIA Garden Residences, di mana dia melihat beratus-ratus rakan senegaranya, tetapi juga warganegara lain. Di mana dia bekerja, penyelia adalah kulit hitam dan Cina.

Ridwan berkata, dia tidak dibenarkan membaca kontrak dan didesak untuk menandatanganinya. Setibanya di pejabat, dia dan yang lain telah dilatih untuk mencipta akaun media sosial palsu dengan gambar curi watak wanita yang muda, pintar dan berjaya untuk menipu orang di Tinder, Facebook dan Instagram.

“Selepas sasaran kami cinta dengan kami, kami membuat mereka melabur dalam mata wang kripto,” tetapi jika “kami tidak mendapat mangsa, kami akan mendapat hukuman,” jelasnya.

“Tanggapan saya ialah ramai pekerja yang gaji mereka digantung. Gaji kami sepatutnya P80,000 sebulan, tetapi pekerja yang ada sebelum saya terus meminta saya untuk mee segera dan juga rokok,” tambahnya.

Tidak lama kemudian warga Indonesia itu memutuskan untuk pergi. Penyelianya menyuruhnya membayar 100,000 peso Filipina (US$ 1,800) dan dia meninggalkan negara itu pada 16 Mac. Selepas itu dia membuat kenyataan di kedutaan Filipina di Jakarta, yang diserahkan kepada Biro Siasatan Kebangsaan Filipina (NBI).

Senator Hontiveros mengkritik Biro Imigresen, bertanya mengapa warga Filipina yang pulang terpaksa menjalani temu bual yang panjang manakala pengembara asing yang masuk tidak perlu menjawab sebarang soalan.

“Saya menyeru NBI dan PNP (Polis Negara Filipina) untuk bertindak segera. Tiada masa untuk dibazirkan,” kata Hontiveros.

“Setiap hari, warga asing boleh masuk ke negara ini dengan mudah dengan bantuan pegawai lapangan terbang atau imigresen yang tidak bertanggungjawab. Ini adalah kebimbangan keselamatan negara yang serius yang perlu kita tangani segera,” tambahnya.

Menurut Hontiveros, orang dari Vietnam, Kemboja, Myanmar dan negara-negara di Afrika dan Asia Selatan telah diperdagangkan ke negara itu untuk bekerja di hab penipuan seperti kompleks kondominium Parañaque, pasport mereka diambil daripada mereka, dalam keadaan perhambaan moden.
