Catechetical gotong-royong on May 22

TANJUNG ARU – The absence of physical catechetical classes in the last two years has not deterred parents from pursuing faith formation for their children. Instead it has created in the children a thirst for the knowledge of God even more.
On May 22 the teens, parents, teachers and facilitators of Stella Maris parish catechetical ministry came together for a ‘gotong-royong’ in preparation for the much- anticipated re-opening of the physical class, which begins in June 2022.
The positive response towards this work of charity is evident that our community values togetherness through love in action.
The practice of charity, humility and love has the power to create a better individual and in turn to positively affect society today and the future of tomorrow by first showing good examples to our children.
