Pope Francis’s activities in these last seven days (1-8 April) coincide with the Easter Triduum, which was once again celebrated with restrictions in place due to Covid-19. Yet, the health measures did not effect the solemnity of the liturgies.
At the beginning of the Easter Season, Pope Francis’s message resounds loud and clear.
He encourages all of us to live what we profess to be the core of our faith: love for God and for our brothers and sisters.
This has to be translated into concrete actions, expressing our dedication to others, as do those who fight for the fundamental human rights.
That was precisely the theme the Pope chose for his April prayer intention, released in a video on Easter Tuesday.
