KUCHING —A total of 16 students from St Peter’s Church Sunday School attended the Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS), conducted specially for these 16-year-olds who will be receiving their Sacrament of Confirmation in early September 2023.
It was held from 30 June to 2 July. This was made possible, thanks to the Emmaus Servant Community from Blessed Sacrament Church. During the LSS, many were touched by the Holy Spirit.
Here are some of the testimonies from the students:
“Attending the LSS has made me feel closer to God by learning more about my belief, praising the Lord and through the activities. I also had a great time and made many new friends through this experience.” – Belinda Goh
“Before the LSS camp, I was not feeling my best at times. I would always doubt myself, and I didn’t know if I had made the right decisions. Now, I know that the Holy Spirit is guiding me every step of the way. Not only that, I have also grown closer to God and made friends for a lifetime.” – Ann Dolly Carlo
“Although the talk was lengthy, I got to become closer to God, my family and friends. I love the songs that we sang and danced to, because I believe the Holy Spirit has sealed me. The Holy Spirit has guided and showed me to indulge myself into more beneficial work. I made friends whom I believe I will keep for a lifetime.” – Ferdinand Sii
