TANJUNG ARU – There is a time we become too thirsty and one glass of water is just not enough to quench our thirst. This is how it felt like knowing Jesus in the online environment.
The pandemic has put a barricade on the physical class, pushing us to share or stare, speak or drift off in our thoughts, all with a screen between us.
The reality of classes online has put a strain on relationship building. Despite the set-back, it is a miracle in itself to see many of our new brothers and sisters attending online classes week after week until the day of the reception of their Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion.
This year, the congregation at Stella Maris here witnessed with joy the celebration of 19 Elects receiving the Sacrament of Baptism and 20 adults receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation by assistant priest, Fr Peter Abas during the Easter Vigil Apr 16.
