First reading Apocalypse 14:14-19

The harvest and the vintage of the earth are ripe

In my vision I, John, saw a white cloud and, sitting on it, one like a son of man with a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then another angel came out of the sanctuary, and shouted aloud to the one sitting on the cloud, ‘Put your sickle in and reap: harvest time has come and the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ Then the one sitting on the cloud set his sickle to work on the earth, and the earth’s harvest was reaped.

Another angel, who also carried a sharp sickle, came out of the temple in heaven, and the angel in charge of the fire left the altar and shouted aloud to the one with the sharp sickle, ‘Put your sickle in and cut all the bunches off the vine of the earth; all its grapes are ripe.’ So the angel set his sickle to work on the earth and harvested the whole vintage of the earth and put it into a huge winepress, the winepress of God’s anger.

Responsorial Psalm 95(96):10-13

The Lord comes to rule the earth.

Proclaim to the nations: ‘God is king.’

The world he made firm in its place;

he will judge the peoples in fairness.

Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad,

let the sea and all within it thunder praise,

let the land and all it bears rejoice,

all the trees of the wood shout for joy

at the presence of the Lord for he comes,

he comes to rule the earth.

With justice he will rule the world,

he will judge the peoples with his truth.

Gospel Luke 21:5-11

The destruction of the Temple foretold

When some were talking about the Temple, remarking how it was adorned with fine stonework and votive offerings, Jesus said, ‘All these things you are staring at now – the time will come when not a single stone will be left on another: everything will be destroyed.’ And they put to him this question: ‘Master,’ they said ‘when will this happen, then, and what sign will there be that this is about to take place?’

‘Take care not to be deceived,’ he said ‘because many will come using my name and saying, “I am he” and, “The time is near at hand.” Refuse to join them. And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened, for this is something that must happen but the end is not so soon.’ Then he said to them, ‘Nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes and plagues and famines here and there; there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.’

Reflection
Revelation 14:14-19, Luke 21:5-11

“I am here. Do not be frightened.”
As humans, we always experience fear while we journey through life. What is Jesus’ message for us today? Jesus calls us to fix our eyes on him, not on our fears, and to trust him. In order to live, we must trust. Without trust, we will never move. Without trust, we will be stuck in our fears and not experience the joy of going through a challenge, the freedom to make mistakes, the growth that comes with a new journey.

Jesus is God who walks through life with us, and so we have nothing to fear!

Questions for reflection:
1) What prevents me from trusting in Jesus?

2) How can I increase my awareness that Jesus is present in my life and live this day with him?

Renungan
Wahyu 14:14-19, Lukas 21:5-11

“Aku di sini. Jangan takut.”
Sebagai manusia, kita sentiasa mengalami ketakutan ketika menjalani kehidupan. Apakah mesej Yesus kepada kita hari ini? Yesus memanggil kita untuk memusatkan perhatian kita kepadaNya, bukan pada ketakutan kita dan percaya kepada-Nya. Untuk meneruskan kehidupan, kita harus percaya. Tanpa kepercayaan, kita tidak akan pernah bergerak. Tanpa kepercayaan, kita akan kekal dalam ketakutan dan tidak mengalami sukacita dalam berhadapan dengan cabaran, kebebasan dalam melakukan kesilapan, pertumbuhan yang datang dalam perjalanan hidup.
Yesus adalah Tuhan yang menjalani hidup bersama kita, dan kerana itu kita tidak perlu takut!

Soalan renungan:
1) Apakah yang menghalang saya untuk percaya kepada Yesus?

2) Bagaimana saya dapat meningkatkan kesedaran saya bahawa Yesus hadir dan hidup dalam kehidupan saya sehingga hari ini?

Koson ra ulun, masalok takau makaili’ ra malaa’ paat ra pangkiralanan takau ralalom kaayagan. Atan kia bilun ri Jisus ritakau ra orou raiti’? Mampiau i Jisus ritakau koson Io ayuk tantangin takau, sala’ ka laa’ takau, kaa’ mangintopot Riso. Koson maa’ ra maayag, musiti’ takau mangintopot. Ra kalo mangintopot, kalo noyo igondo’ takau makaimbuor. Ra kalo mangintopot, maaput takau ru laa’ am kalo makaili’ ra maansukan ralalom kaangatan, kalabusan ra mambaal ra sala, kasukaran ondo’ matong mabaya’ ra pangkiralanan bagu.
I Jisus noyo i Aki Kapuuno’ ondo’ mugar ralalom kaayagan mabaya’ ritakau, maa’ raginio kalo boo malaa’ takau!

Pangkuatan ra paguangin:
1) Atan kia mokoompong raki’ intor ra mangintopot ri Jisus?
2) Ati kulaan mabuli ku ruangin kalimanan kuno ra sumaang i Jisus ralalom kaayagan kuti am mayan ra orou raiti’ masimpung Riso?

Renungan
Pemandang 14:14-19; Luke 21:5-11

“Tu aku ditu. Anang takut.”
Kitai mensia meruan ngasai penakut dalam kitai bejalai ba pengidup tu. Nama pesan Jesus ka kitai saritu? Jesus ngangau kitai awak malik ngagai Iya,ukai ngagai penakut ati lalu mega pecaya ka Iya. Ngambi ulih idup, kitai patut pecaya. Enti kitai enda pecaya, kitai enda ulih mindah. Enti enda pecaya, kitai deka mengkang dalam penakut lalu enda ulih ngasaika pengaga ati lebuh maya bisi penanggol, pengelepas ati ari bisi ilap, mansang dalam pejalai ti baru.

Jesus meh Allah ti bejalai sertai kitai dalam pengidup, nya alai kitai nadai takut.

Nama utai ti nagang aku ari pecaya ka Jesus?
Kati aku ulih nambahka pengasai ka Jesus sertai aku dalam pengidup lalu diau sertai Iya?

《路二十一:5-11》

“我在这里。不要害怕”
作为人类，我们常常在人生的道路面临恐惧。今天耶稣给我们什么讯息呢？耶稣要我们修复看祂的眼睛，而不是专注我们的恐惧并且相信祂。若要活下去，我们必须选择信任。没有了信任，我们不能前进。没有了信任，我们就会被困在我们的恐惧而不是面对挑战的喜悦，意思犯错的自由，还有从每个新旅途的成长。

耶稣就是配我们走过生命的天主，因此我们没有什么值得我们恐惧！

省思题:
1)是人们阻止我相信耶稣？

2)我要如何提高自己对耶稣出现在我们生命里的警觉并每天和祂一起过生活？
