Kasih Tuhan menyalakan harapan belia

KUALA LUMPUR – Seramai 86 orang belia Katolik berumur 18 hingga 39 tahun telah ber­himpun di Malaysia Bible Seminary (MBS), Rawang untuk mengikuti program Belia Penziarah Harapan pada 15 – 16 Nov 2025.

Dengan tema, “Pengharapan tidak mengecewakan, kerana kasih Tuhan telah dicurahkan ke dalam hati kita oleh Roh Ku­dus” (Roma 5:5), program itu menjadi ruang untuk para belia memperbaharui iman, menyembuhkan batin, dan menemukan se­mula harapan dalam Kristus.

Program dimulai dengan pendaftaran dan Misa Kudus yang dipimpin oleh Friar Gerard OFM. Dalam homilinya, Friar Gerard mengingatkan bahawa setiap belia adalah seorang penziarah yang berjalan bersama Kristus dalam kegembiraan, keletihan, ma­hupun pergelutan hidup.

Selepas Misa, para peserta mengikuti ucaptama, aktiviti suai kenal, dan sesi puji sembah untuk mempersiapkan hati mere­ka bagi perjalanan rohani yang lebih men­dalam.

Pengharapan lahir daripada kasih Tuhan

Dalam sesi pertama, “Pengharapan Tidak Mengecewakan”, Friar Gerard menjelaskan perbezaan antara ekspektasi dan peng­harapan.

Ekspektasi datang daripada kehendak manusia, namun pengharapan lahir daripa­da kasih Tuhan. Beliau menegaskan bahawa harapan tidak akan mengecewakan kerana Tuhan berjalan bersama setiap realiti hidup sama ada dalam tekanan, luka batin, keleti­han, atau kekecewaan.

Friar Gerard mengundang para peser­ta untuk belajar menerima realiti yang Tuhan izinkan, bukan idealisme yang mere­ka bayangkan. Melalui Roh Kudus, manusia diajar untuk mendengar suara Tuhan dalam emosi yang sering sulit diekspresikan.

Salib: Kasih Tuhan yang Menyalakan Harapan

Pada sebelah malam, peserta diajak me­renungkan kasih Tuhan melalui Salib Kris­tus. Friar menerangkan bahawa manusia sebenarnya tidak ingin mati, mereka hanya mahu mengakhiri penderitaan.

Namun melalui salib, manusia melihat Tuhan yang masuk ke dalam kesakitan mereka, bukan menjauhinya.

Beliau menekankan bahawa kita mem­bawa “DNA Kasih Tuhan”, dan bahawa per­intah cinta kasih hanya dapat dijalani mel­alui kerendahan hati, seperti Yesus yang membasuh kaki para murid.

Ego menjauhkan manusia daripada kasih, tetapi rendah hati membuka jalan kepada penyembuhan. Sesi ini memuncak dalam doa Taizé, Adorasi Sakramen Mahakudus, dan Sakramen Pengampunan yang dilayani bersama Fr Simon Labrooy.

Berakar di Dalam Kristus, Berbuah Dalam Pengharapan

Sesi ketiga “Berakar di Dalam Kristus, Berbuah Dalam Pengharapan” membawa fokus kepada kedalaman hubungan dengan Kristus.

Friar Gerard menjelaskan bahawa iman yang berakar kukuh akan menghasilkan buah pengharapan. Tanpa akar, hidup mu­dah goyah oleh emosi, ekspektasi, dan te­kanan.

Beliau menekankan bahawa pertumbuhan rohani memerlukan kesediaan untuk membuka hati, menerima realiti diri, dan membenarkan Roh Kudus menyentuh bahagian hidup yang rapuh. Apabila seseorang benar-benar berakar pada Kristus, buahnya terlihat dalam ketenangan, kekuatan dalaman, empati, dan kemampuan untuk melihat kebaikan Tuhan walaupun dalam situasi sulit. Ramai peserta menyedari bahawa untuk berbuah, mereka harus terlebih dahulu mengizinkan Tuhan menanam mereka dengan mendalam.

Harapan yang sejati membantu belia memberi diri, bukan dari ketakutan, tetapi dari kasih

Sesi terakhir “Harapan Yang Menghidupkan Misi” menekankan bahawa harapan bukan hanya untuk diri sendiri tetapi untuk dunia.

Friar mengingatkan bahawa pengalaman kehadiran Tuhan, penyembuhan batin, dan damai hati adalah undangan untuk kembali ke kehidupan harian sebagai saksi Kristus.

Beliau menegaskan bahawa misi bukan hanya pelayanan besar di Gereja tetapi dimulai dalam tindakan sederhana iaitu memaafkan, mencintai dengan rendah hati, mendengar dengan belas kasih, dan menjadi tanda harapan kepada orang seke­liling. Harapan yang sejati akan mendorong seseorang untuk memberi diri, bukan dari ketakutan, tetapi dari kasih.

Pada penghujung program, para peserta kembali ke paroki masing-masing dengan hati yang lebih kuat, terarah, dan dipenuhi pengharapan.

Mereka belajar bahawa hidup tidak se­lalu memenuhi ideal yang dibayangkan na­mun Tuhan bekerja melalui realiti yang kecil dan tidak sempurna.

Program Belia Penziarah Harapan bukan sekadar sebuah program, tetapi sebuah pengalaman iman yang meyakinkan para belia bahawa mereka tidak pernah berjalan sendirian. Tuhan memanggil mereka seba­gai yang dikasihi, dan pengharapan daripa­da-Nya tidak akan pernah mengecewakan. – Herald Malaysia
