Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu
It has come to the attention of the Archdiocese that a chapel by the name of Immaculate Conception Chapel, located at Suria Inanam, Kota Kinabalu, has been set up by groups not affiliated to or recognised by the Archdiocese. The Chapel is under the care of the priests of the Society of St Pius X (SSPX) which does not have a regular canonical status with the Church. The views of the SSPX also dissent from the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and they have serious questions about the Order of Mass promulgated by Pope St Paul VI.
The faithful are advised not to participate or support any event held at the said Chapel.
