KUCHING — On 28 October 2023, the Tabuan Dayak Mother of Mercy Rosary Block had their first Family Day outing at Badul Homestay, Kpg Atas Singai, Bau consisting of 55 members.
This Family Day outing was the first since it was established 25 years ago. In the past, the Family Rosary Block’s yearly activity included pilgrimages to Garden of Gethsemane at Bunan Gega, Mt Singai CMPC and Gereja Katedral Santo Yosef in Pontianak to name a few.
The main purpose of the family outing was to create closer rapport and strengthen bonds among members of all ages in the rosary block. In the first part of the Family Day programme which started at 8.30 am, Fr Andre Delimarta, SDB led the Liturgy of the Word and gave some spiritual talks and reflection.
Towards the afternoon, members old and young took part in the games organised by the rosary block’s committee. Everyone had a lot of fun.
The Family Day Outing ended at 4.30 pm where the members returned home full of joy and satisfaction. – Today’s Catholic
