PORT DICKSON – On Saturday, May 17, parishioners from the Church of St John Marie Vianney, Tampin, and those from Bahau and Gemas, embarked on their first Jubilee Year pilgrimage to the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The pilgrims were warmly welcomed by the parish community and their parish priest, Fr Edwin Peter.
The day began with a briefing on the meaning and blessings of the Jubilee Year, followed by a rosary walk and the celebration of the Holy Mass. A time of Eucharistic Adoration followed, offering everyone a chance for silent prayer and reflection.
The celebration continued with fellowship, which included games for the children. Later, the group proceeded to Pantai Biru for a beachcleaning project, a meaningful act of service made even more special by the stunning coastal scenery.
To wrap up the day, the pilgrims visited the PD Reserved Forest for sightseeing and group photographs before returning to the church. It was a spiritually enriching and memorable day of unity, faith, and friendship for all three parish communities. – Herald Malaysia
