His Grace, Most Reverend Archbishop John Wong, has officially announced the new appointments to the College of Consultors during the Clergy Meeting held on May 6 2026 at Bundu Tuhan.
These appointments follow the retirement of two long-serving members. The changes are effective immediately.
1. New Appointments
The following priests have been appointed as Bishop’s Consultors:
• Fr Sunny Chung
• Fr Rhobby Mojolou
• Fr Matheus Luta
2. Outgoing Members
The Archdiocese extends its deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the following outgoing members for their years of dedicated service, wise counsel, and commitment to the governance of the local church:
• Fr Cosmas Lee
• Fr Primus Jouil
3. Full Composition of the College of Consultors
With these new appointments, the College of Consultors now consists of six members:
• Msgr Nicholas Stephen
• Fr Wilfred Atin
• Fr Paul Lo
• Fr Sunny Chung
• Fr Rhobby Mojolou
• Fr Matheus Luta
We invite the faithful and the clergy to keep these priests in your prayers as they undertake this significant responsibility in assisting the Archbishop in the administration and pastoral care of the Archdiocese.
