LIMBAHAU PAPAR – Pada 27 hingga 30 Ogos yang lalu, Program Pesta Belia Keuskupan yang ke-14 (PBK-14) telah dijalankan di Holy Rosary Limbahau, Papar (HRL). Seramai 885 orang peserta telah menyahut panggilan untuk menyertai program belia ini dari setiap paroki di Keuskupan Agung Kota Kinabalu. Kedatangan para peserta dialu-alukan dengan penuh meriah dan mesra oleh tim penganjur PBK-14.

“Pertama kali saya sampai di tapak pendaftaran PBK-14 di St Joseph ini, saya disambut dengan meriah dan mesra, walau ada sedikit malu, gementar dan takut, tapi saya rasa kedatangan saya sangat dialu-alukan” kata salah seorang peserta bernama Charles.

Terdapat beberapa objektif yang ingin dicapai semasa PBK-14 ini berlangsung iaitu pertama; agar Orang Muda Katolik (OMK) mempunyai relasi mendalam dengan Yesus Kristus. Kedua, agar OMK dapat dijangkau dan mengalami “Sense of Belonging”. Objektif terakhir ialah agar OMK terdorong berpartisipasi di dalam misi pelayanan bersama. Penglibatan keluarga angkat turut menjadi salah satu penyumbang kepada kejayaan program PBK-14 ini.

Hari kedua dimulai dengan doa pagi dimana para penganjur bersama-sama berdoa pagi di gereja HRL manakala para peserta pula berdoa pagi bersama keluarga angkat masing-masing. Misa Kudus pembukaan dirayakan oleh Uskup Agung John Wong. Beliau dengan harapan bahawa kedatangan para peserta ke PBK-14 adalah untuk mempersiapkan diri dan membuka hati untuk menanti kedatangan Roh Kudus dan mengalami kedatangan Tuhan.

Selesai sahaja Misa Kudus, para peserta dibahagikan kepada tiga kumpulan iaitu Group A, B, dan C mengikut lingkungan umur untuk sesi katekesis. Sesi katekesis 1 masing-masing dipimpin oleh Suzy Datu Jack, Anna Teresa dan Fr Matheus Luta dengan tajuk ‘’You Are Loved’’. Konklusi daripada kateksis ini ialah para peserta akan sentiasa mengalami cinta kasih Tuhan tanpa syarat kerana Tuhan menerima segala kekurangan dan kesalahan yang dilakukan tanpa mengharapkan suatu balasan daripada umatNya. Kemudian sesi katekesis kedua diteruskan oleh Aline Lim, Friar Gerald, Fr Terans Thadeus dengan tajuk ‘’You Are Treasured’’.

Kesimpulan dalam katekesis yang kedua ini adalah Tuhan ingin menyampaikan kepada kita semua bahawa janganlah kita merasa tidak disayangi atau tidak mempunyai kawan, kerana kita percaya Tuhan tidak pernah jauh daripada kita. Tuhanlah yang menyayangi, mencintai dan pendengar bagi kita yang tidak pernah ada penghujungnya. Hal ini kerana Tuhan pernah berjanji bahawa Dia tidak akan pernah meninggalkan anak-anakNya.

Seorang peserta bernama Grace dari kontinjen Stella Maris menyatakan perasaannya pada hari kedua ini banyak mengajar dia tentag kasih dan anugerah Tuhan.

“Pada hari kedua ini, dalam katekesis yang pertama iaitu “You are loved”, saya dapat merasakan saya dipenuhi dengan kasih dan dalam katekesis ini juga saya dapat belajar untuk lebih mengasihi para belia, dan untuk katekesis yang kedua iaitu “You are treasured”, saya berasa ianya sangat betul bahawa belia merupakan sebuah anugerah daripada Tuhan, terutama bagi diri saya, kenapa saya berada di sini, di PBK-14 ini, merupakan satu anugerah Tuhan dan juga kasih Kristus”.

Sesi Bangkit, Bersatu dan Bersyukur (B.B.B) untuk menyanyikan lagu-lagu pujian 

Hari ketiga PBK-14 telah dimulakan dengan doa rosari di Gereja Holy Rosary Limbahau. Para peserta bergerak ke gereja untuk persiapan Misa Kudus harian dirayakan oleh Msgr Nicholas Stephen. Selesai sahaja perayaan Misa Kudus, peserta-peserta bergerak ke hadapan Dewan Fr Amandus untuk sesi Bangkit, Bersatu dan Bersyukur (B.B.B). Sesi ini diadakan untuk menyanyikan lagu-lagu pujian buat Tuhan Yesus bagi membakar semangat para peserta supaya terus cergas sepanjang PBK-14 ini.

Janiati Jane menerima cendera kenangan selepas menyampaikan katekesis ketiga

Selepas itu, peserta bergerak untuk ke sesi katekesis ketiga yang dipimpin oleh Janiati Jane, Fr Elvost, dan Dominic Lim dengan tajuk ‘’We’ve Got You’’. Dalam katekesis ini ia dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak kira betapa susahnya kehidupan yang kita alami, kita haruslah sentiasa ingat bahawa Tuhan Yesus sentiasa ada untuk membantu kita. Mintalah kepada Tuhan dan sentiasa berdoa kerana Roh Kudus tidak pernah berhenti bekerja. Tuhan Yesus tidak pernah jemu untuk mengasihi kita tetapi kita sebagai manusia yang jemu untuk meminta bantuanNya. Bak kata Bapa Suci Fransiskus, “Wahai anak muda, kamu mempunyai banyak rancangan, namun adakah Yesus Kristus berada di pusat setiap perancangan kamu?”.

Dalam katekesis yang ketiga juga ia memberi tahu kepada kita semua bahwa jadilah seperti yang tenang walaupun dalam keadaan apa sekalipun, kerana Bonda Maria percaya kepada Tuhan Bapa seperti ketika Bonda Maria dipilih oleh Tuhan Bonda Maria berkata ‘Sesungguhnya Aku ini adalah hamba Tuhan, jadilah padaku menurut perkataanMu itu’ – Lukas 1:38.

Hari terakhir PBK-14 dimulakan dengan doa Lectio Divina di gereja HRL yang disertai oleh para penganjur. Manakala para peserta ketika itu berdoa bersama-sama dengan keluarga angkat mereka. Acara diteruskan dengan sesi katekesis keempat yang diambil alih oleh Msgr Nicholas Stephen. Dalam katekesis itu, beliau menekankan bahawa para umat Katolik hendaklah mempunyai kerinduan untuk datang ke gereja melayani Tuhan. Begitu juga dengan peserta-peserta PBK-14, mereka datang bukanlah suatu kebetulan, melainkan panggilan daripada Tuhan Yesus sendiri. Peserta PBK-14 haruslah mengenal Yesus secara peribadi dan mengalami cinta kasih Tuhan yang tidak bersyarat.
