Sinode: Sinodaliti yang ‘bukan klise’ tetapi pengalaman harian

Tema kerja sinode yang berlangsung pada waktu pagi – daripada kerja misionari kepada dialog antara agama, kepada peranan wanita dalam berkhidmat kepada Gereja – telah dibincangkan pada taklimat petang Isnin di Pejabat Akhbar Vatican. Perhimpunan itu juga mengingatkan ulang tahun ke-45 pemilihan John Paul II ke takhta Bapa Suci.

Maksud sebenar sinodaliti, kekayaan kepelbagaian, peranan yang dibaptiskan dalam Gereja, aktiviti misionari, ekumenisme dan dialog antara agama, peranan wanita dalam perspektif diakon wanita, dan evolusi digital; tanpa melupakan golongan muda negara-negara miskin di dunia yang terputus sepenuhnya daripada penggunaan teknologi paling moden: ini adalah beberapa topik yang ditangani pagi Isnin semasa kerja Sinode sedang dijalankan di Vatican, seperti yang dijelaskan semasa taklimat petang dengan wartawan, yang berlangsung di Pejabat Akhbar Takhta Suci.

Laporan pertama diperiksa

“Laporan pertama kalangan kecil juga telah diperiksa,” jelas Paolo Ruffini, Pengawas Dicastery untuk Komunikasi dan Presiden Suruhanjaya Maklumat.

Dr Ruffini menyatakan bahawa sesi itu “dibuka dengan ucapan terima kasih ahli kepada Bapa Suci atas nasihat kerasulannya C’est la confiance, yang didedikasikan kepada St Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face (St Therese of Lisieux, ed.), yang diterbitkan pada hari Ahad. Pengawas juga menegaskan bahawa ahli-ahli mengingatkan, “dengan tepukan yang panjang, ulang tahun, yang jatuh hari ini, pemilihan John Paul II dan ulang tahun beberapa pentahbisan paderi.”

Di samping itu, Dr Ruffini berkongsi dengan wartawan berita mengenai mesyuarat itu, Jumaat lalu, mengenai jawatankuasa biasa Sinode, yang menilai “jalan yang diambil sejauh ini dan kualiti serta keindahan pendengaran.”

Sinodaliti bukan klise

Antara tetamu pada taklimat itu ialah Pastor Vimal Tirimanna, C.Ss.R, seorang ahli teologi dari Sri Lanka, memikirkan idea bahawa “sinodaliti berlaku apabila anda melakukannya.” Dia berkata dia pada asalnya berfikir “Ini hanya klise.” Tetapi, dia meneruskan, sebahagian besarnya terima kasih kepada “suasana doa yang hebat, yang banyak dilengkapkan dengan… kaedah perbualan rohani, kita melihat bagaimana proses sinodal, atau lebih tepatnya cara hidup sinodal, sudah dihayati.”

Fr Tirimanna menekankan bagaimana ini juga dicerminkan dalam susunan jadual, menonjolkan pengalaman Kardinal, uskup, dan orang awam – terutamanya wanita – “bergesekan bahu” antara satu sama lain dalam “Gereja sepusat, bukan piramid… eklesiologi Lumen gentium telah dihayati. Cara sinodal, budaya sinodali dihayati di sini. Cabarannya ialah untuk membawanya ke luar dewan sinode.” Dia juga menyatakan bahawa proses sinode itu “bukan agenda peribadi Bapa Suci Fransiskus,” tetapi “kesinambungan Vatican II.”

Doa dan persiapan

Sister Patricia Murray, IBVM, Setiausaha Eksekutif Kesatuan Agung Antarabangsa (UISG), berkata dia gembira melihat sinodaliti semakin menjadi kenyataan. Dia memberitahu pemberita, “Sebagai ahli religius, saya merasakan bahawa kami telah mengamalkan sinodaliti selama lebih daripada dua puluh tahun… Terutamanya ketika kami membuat keputusan dan membuat kesimpulan tentang perkara yang penting dalam hidup kami. Dan meletakkan Yesus dan Roh sebagai pusat kehidupan kita, dan mendengar suara semua orang dalam komuniti keagamaan untuk mengetahui di mana Tuhan memanggil seseorang pada masa ini, di mana Tuhan memanggil kongregasi telah menjadi amalan banyak kongregasi.”

Dia menambah, “Jadi bagi saya, adalah satu kegembiraan tambahan untuk melihat penyebaran ini dalam gereja sejagat, bahawa ini adalah cara yang kita mahu hidup dan bersama, kata-kata penyertaan, persekutuan, dan misi.”

Cahaya yang menerangi kegelapan

Uskup Zdenek Wasserbauer, seorang Uskup tambahan di Prague, berkata dia terharu dengan anjuran apostolik tentang St Therese dari Lisieux, yang melihat dalam dokumen itu sebagai kompas untuk keseluruhan Sinode. “Semasa kerja ini,” katanya kepada pemberita, “Saya melihat dengan jelas bahawa perkataan ‘misi’ adalah perkara utama bagi kami. Dan St Therese dari Lisieux ialah penaung bersama misi.”

Dia menawarkan dua alasan, khususnya, mengapa seruan itu boleh dilihat sebagai panduan atau suar: “Yang pertama berkaitan dengan fakta bahawa Orang Suci, ketika dia memasuki Karmel, mempunyai keinginan untuk menyelamatkan jiwa-jiwa. Nah, saya sedar bahawa di sini semua 400 ahli bertemu setiap hari untuk mencari kebaikan orang lain, keselamatan mereka. Sebab kedua merujuk kepada malam gelap yang dirasai St Therese dari Lisieux dalam jiwanya pada tahun 1856. Ada yang mengatakan bahawa sehingga hari ini, Gereja Milenium Ketiga sedang melalui kegelapan: di sini, Sinode adalah cahaya yang menerangi kegelapan.”

Perhatian kepada kesakitan

Menjawab soalan wartawan tentang sama ada “kesakitan” orang LGBTQ+ telah dibincangkan, Sr Murray berkata, “Saya fikir, di banyak meja, jika tidak semua, persoalan kecederaan, dan kecederaan kedua-duanya secara individu dan kolektif telah ditangani dan didengari.”

Dia menambah bahawa terdapat perbincangan tentang bagaimana Gereja boleh “mewakili kesakitan itu,” menangani persoalan bagaimana Gereja boleh menunjukkan bahawa ia sedang mencari pengampunan untuk “kesakitan yang telah disebabkan.” Semasa perbincangan itu berterusan, dia menekankan, “Terdapat kesedaran mendalam tentang kesakitan dan penderitaan yang telah ditimbulkan.”

Seorang lagi wartawan bertanya sama ada isu keberkatan untuk pasangan sejenis telah ditangani. Dr Ruffini menjelaskan bahawa isu itu “tidak penting” dan terdapat lebih banyak perbincangan mengenai pembentukan, kementerian yang dilantik, pilihan keutamaan untuk golongan miskin, dan penjajahan. Ajaran Katolik, tambah Ruffini, adalah inti kepada semua yang dilakukan di Sinode.

Uskup Cina

Selain itu, mengesahkan berita bahawa uskup dari China yang hadir di Sinode akan meninggalkan kerja esok, Dr Ruffini menjelaskan bahawa mereka berbuat demikian kerana “sebab pastoral yang memanggil mereka kembali ke keuskupan masing-masing.”
