Hubungan akrab dengan Yesus dan sesama melalui APLHA

SHAH ALAM – Pelajar Katolik Universiti (CVS) Gereja Divine Mercy (CDM) melancarkan program Alpha CVS selama lapan minggu, dengan sokongan paderi paroki, Fr George Harrison dan Alpha Malaysia.

Sesi bersemuka terakhir diadakan enam tahun lalu pada tahun 2019, diikuti dengan versi dalam talian pada tahun 2021.

Kebangkitan semula Alpha CVS berlaku ketika CDM terus menyediakan penjagaan pastoral un­tuk kira-kira 300 pelajar Katolik dalam paroki.

Program ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan ru­ang yang selamat dan mesra kepada golongan muda untuk meneroka kehidupan dan iman.

Sebelum sesi pertama, Latihan Pasukan CVS Alpha telah diadakan pada 18 Okt, dikenda­likan oleh Joseph Asim, penyelaras pastoral paro­ki, dan Dr Lovelyna Jipiu, pensyarah kampus un­tuk CVS. Joseph dan Dr Lovelyna, kedua-duanya berkhidmat sebagai pentadbir untuk Alpha CVS.

Latihan yang dihadiri oleh 40 pemimpin CVS dari pelbagai kampus ini memperkenalkan latar belakang program Alpha, melengkapkan peserta dengan kemahiran fasilitasi yang penting, dan membincangkan strategi untuk melaksanakan­nya dalam komuniti CVS di CDM.

Berikutan latihan tersebut, para pemimpin CVS mengadakan perbincangan untuk menetap­kan tanggungjawab khusus, termasuk peranan seperti pengarah program mingguan, hos, hos bersama, emcee, penyelaras pujian dan penyem­bahan, penyelaras makanan dan minuman, dan pasukan audio-visual.

Sesi pertama Alpha CVS bermula pada 26 Okt , menerima penyertaan seramai 150 pelajar dari pelbagai universiti dan kolej.

Majoriti peserta berasal dari UiTM (merentasi tiga kampus), Universiti Xiamen Malaysia, CENTEXS, Universiti HELP, UOW, MSU, Institut Kemahiran Perkasa, dan Kolej Tingkatan Enam, Shah Alam. Program tahun ini juga mengalu-alukan pelajar Indonesia yang sedang belajar di Universiti Xiamen Malaysia.

Selaras dengan Tahun Jubli Harapan 2025, pro­gram ini menggunakan tema, “Ziarah Harapan Muda”, program Alpha CVS dijangka berakhir pada 14 Dis, 2025 — menampilkan siri ak­tiviti yang direka untuk memperdalam pengala­man iman peserta.

Ini termasuk Hujung Minggu Alpha, ziarah, ber­jalan kaki, penyembahan, meditasi Kristian, dan sesi penyembuhan.

Inisiatif ‘Jaga Penciptaan’ turut diperkenalkan bagi mengajak peserta menjaga tumbuhan pasu daripada spesies yang berbeza.

Ahli kumpulan bergilir-gilir membawa tumbu­han itu ke asrama mereka sepanjang minggu dan memulangkannya pada hari Ahad untuk diletak­kan di atas meja kumpulan mereka. Tanggung­jawab bersama ini memastikan setiap ahli mem­punyai peluang untuk memelihara tumbuhan itu — simbol hidup pengurusan dan pertumbuhan.

Menjelang akhir 12 sesi, tumbuhan dijangka bercambah tunas hijau kecil — simbol keyaki­nan yang telah berakar umbi dan mula tumbuh dalam setiap peserta.

Anak benih ini mewakili perjalanan rohani setiap pelajar, dipupuk melalui soalan, cerita, dan detik-detik rahmat yang dikongsi bersama.

Apabila Alpha CVS berakhir, komuniti meraikan bagaimana Tuhan telah membangkitkan sesuatu yang baharu dalam setiap hati, mempersiapkan mereka untuk pergi dan berkongsi Berita Baik.

Melalui Alpha CVS, Gereja Divine Mercy terus memupuk iman pelajar universiti Katolik. Per­jalanan ini bukan sahaja memupuk pertumbu­han rohani tetapi juga mengukuhkan ikatan komuniti, menyediakan persekitaran yang me­nyokong di mana pelajar boleh berhubung se­cara mendalam, berkongsi pengalaman mereka, dan saling memberi inspirasi untuk berkembang dalam hubungan mereka dengan Tuhan.

“Walaupun pada mulanya saya be­rasa gementar dan tertutup, saya dengan cepat mendapati diri saya menjadi bersemangat dan mengambil bahagian secara aktif dalam perbualan dengan rakan-rakan baharu.
