KOTA KINABALU – The Catholic Doctors Association of Malaysia (CDAM) and its Sabah Chapter, led by its chairman, Dr Michael Raj, handed over a donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline healthcare workers in Sabah.
The contribution was received Dec 14, by the Sabah State Health Department Director, Datuk Dr Christina Rundi.
The generous contribution was made possible through the direct donation from the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur, with blessings from Archbishop Julian Leow.
The PPEs donated include N95 masks, nitrile gloves as well as protective cover all gowns with boot covers worth RM 29,976.00.
They will be distributed to health facilities throughout Sabah, where the number of COVID-19 cases are still at a high.
Sabah State Health Department thanked the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur through CDAM Sabah Chapter for the aid.
