Fr Mattheus receiving his huge burger

INANAM – Fr Matheus Luta celebrated his 12th sacerdotal ordination anniversary in style Aug 7!
The parishioners came up with an extraordinary idea. Being a loyal fan of Manchester United, they surprised Fr Matheus with a huge burger and an anniversary cake with the Manchester United logo.
A number of parishioners were seen wearing the Manchester United t-shirts as a show of support for their priest, who is a staunch supporter of Manchester United.
However, while cheering the Manchester United vs Brighton match in the English Premier League that night with a glass of beer and waiting eagerly for the outcome of the match, MU’s fans were disappointed when Manchester United was defeated by Brighton by 2-1.
Nonetheless, the celebration was well attended by more than 200 parishioners, as well as parish priest Fr David Sham, Fr Mitchelly Kiun and Fr Sylvester Wong.
