First reading Isaiah 61:9-11

I exult for joy in the Lord

Their race will be famous throughout the nations,

their descendants throughout the peoples.

All who see them will admit

that they are a race whom the Lord has blessed.

‘I exult for joy in the Lord,

my soul rejoices in my God,

for he has clothed me in the garments of salvation,

he has wrapped me in the cloak of integrity,

like a bridegroom wearing his wreath,

like a bride adorned in her jewels.

‘For as the earth makes fresh things grow,

as a garden makes seeds spring up,

so will the Lord make both integrity and praise

spring up in the sight of the nations.’

Responsorial Psalm 1 Samuel 2:1,4-8

My heart exults in the Lord my Saviour.

I find my strength in my God;

my mouth laughs at my enemies

as I rejoice in your saving help.

Gospel Luke 2:41-51

Mary stored up all these things in her heart

Every year the parents of Jesus used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When they were on their way home after the feast, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was with the caravan, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.

Three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the doctors, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’

‘Why were you looking for me?’ he replied. ‘Did you not know that I must be busy with my Father’s affairs?’ But they did not understand what he meant.

He then went down with them and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart.

12th June 2021 Saturday The Immaculate Heart of Mary

Reflection
Isaiah 61: 9-11, Luke 2:41-51

“To have a heart that loves and trusts”
In today’s passage, Mary asked Jesus, “My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you”. Mary did not understand Jesus’ reply to her about the need for Him to be busy with His Father’s work, and she also did not understand God’s purpose for her and her son. In her struggle, she trusted in God and let go of Jesus so that He could live as how God wanted for Him, and not how she would want for Him.

Today, we can learn from Mary, our Mother, to continue trusting in God even though we do not fully understand God and His ways for us and others. We need to learn to let go of the people we love and not think that we have the right to control them and possess them. Let us look to Mary as we walk through life, She, as our Mother, always calls us to trust in God even when we do not know what the future may bring.

Renungan
Yesaya 61: 9-11, Lukas 2:41-51

“Memiliki hati yang mengasihi dan percaya”
Dalam petikan hari ini, Maria bertanya kepada Yesus, “Anakku, mengapa Engkau berbuat demikian terhadap kami? Bapa-mu dan aku dengan cemas mencari Engkau”. Maria tidak mengerti jawapan yang diberikan Yesus tentang perlunya Dia sibuk dengan pekerjaan Bapa-Nya, dan dia juga tidak memahami maksud Tuhan untuknya dan puteranya. Dalam perjuangannya, dia percaya kepada Tuhan dan melepaskan Yesus agar Dia dapat hidup seperti yang Tuhan kehendaki untukNya dan bukan seperti yang dia inginkan untukNya.

Hari ini kita dapat belajar dari Maria, Ibu kita, untuk terus percaya kepada Tuhan meskipun kita tidak sepenuhnya mengerti Tuhan dan jalanNya untuk kita dan orang lain. Kita perlu belajar melepaskan orang-orang yang kita kasihi dan tidak berfikir bahawa kita memiliki hak untuk mengawal dan memiliki mereka. Dalam menjalani kehidupan ini, marilah melihat Maria. Dia, sebagai Ibu kita sentiasa memanggil kita untuk percaya kepada Tuhan meskipun kita tidak tahu apa yang akan berlaku pada masa depan kita.

Ati Tuchi Maria nadai Bepenyalah.

Ngembuan ati ti rindu sereta arap.
Ba bacha saritu, Maria nanya Jesus, “Anak, nama kebuah Nuan miaka kami duai apai nuan baka tu? Peda Nuan, kami duai apai Nuan udah irau ati begigaka Nuan.” Maria enda meretika saut Jesus ngagai iya pasal Jesus gawa ngereja pengawa Apai Iya, lalu Maria mega enda meretika tuju Allah Taala ka seduai iya. Dalam penusah iya, Maria arap dalam Allah Taala sereta ngelepas ka Jesus ngambi Iya ulih diau nitih ka peneka Allah Taala lalu ukai ti di deka iya.

Saritu, kitai belajar ari Maria, Indai kitai, awak seruran arap dalam Allah Taala taja kitai enda amat ulih meretika Allah Taala sereta jalai Iya ka kitai enggau orang bukai. Kitai patut belajar ngelepaska orang ti dikerindu lalu enda mikir ka kitai patut ngatur pengidup sida enggau ngempu sida. Aram kitai meda ngagai Maria lebuh kitai bejalai ba pengidup tu, iya, ti Indai kitai, seruran ngangau kitai awak arap dalam Allah Taala taja kitai enda nemu utai ti deka nyadi.

省思
《依六十一:9-11》
《路二:41-51》

“有一颗爱和信任的心”
在今天的福音里，玛利亚问耶稣:”孩子，为什么你这样对待我们？看，你的父亲和我，一直痛苦的找你。” 玛利亚不明白耶稣对她的回复是祂必须在天父那里，也不明白天父对她和儿子的安排。最在她挣扎的当儿，她选择相信天主并允许耶稣过天主要祂过的人生，而不是她要耶稣过的人生。
今天，我们也向玛利亚学习，全心的相信天主对我们的安排，虽然我们不能全然的明白祂对我们和其他人的安排。我们必须约会对我们爱的人放手，学会不控制和拥有他们。让我们向玛利亚学习，她就好像我们的母亲，时常提醒我们就算不了解天主的安全，我们也要选择相信天主。

省思题:
当我阅读这篇福音的时候，是什么让我特别有感触？
