His Eminence, Anthony Soter Cardinal Fernandez was diagnosed by his doctors with carcinoma (cancer) of the tongue last year.
KUALA LUMPUR – His Eminence, Anthony Soter Cardinal Fernandez was diagnosed by his doctors with carcinoma (cancer) of the tongue last year.
His Eminence has received treatment with immunotherapy and radiotherapy and is currently receiving palliative care in hospital. His condition is frail but stable as stated in a communique from the Communications and Media Relations Office of the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur released Aug 26.
While visitation is currently restricted to family members only, His Eminence is grateful to have received your thoughtful messages and prayers.
